This Collage Workshop has been a very popular at my Studio as well as at the Art & Soul Retreat. I think folks are totally surprised how much they love creating multiple layers of acrylic paint along with a HUGE variety of Colorful & Vintage Collage Papers.
You will find that this is a very creative and freeing experience. Give it a try!!
I will start out demonstrate by adding an acrylic background using a palette knife or old credit card with my selected 3 or 4 color palettes.
Next I will add Collage paper that matches your chosen color palette. I use Dina Wakely’s Collage Paper.
After I have added the Colored Collage paper I like to add some neutral toned collage paper. Examples: Old books, old sewing patterned tissue, sheet music & and collage paper that I have found online.
