About the event

Hosted by Art & Soul Creative Retreats. This workshop will be located at:  Portland Sheraton Airport Hotel | 8235 NE Airport Way, Portland

This workshop is such a creative and freeing experience! I will start out demonstrating how to add decorative and vintage collage paper as well as magazine images to create our initial background. From there we will add more layers of color by applying acrylic paint and then move on to using stamps and stencils using Acrylic & Distressed Oxides. You will be introduced to a plethora of supplies and techniques! I will walk you through the entire process.

Next, we will bring in our focal point. I will demonstrate drawing and stamping on tissue paper to create a transparent layer that you can place over your background creating a sense of depth to your collage painting. There will be a generous collection of magazines, vintage & collage papers to choose from as your focal point as well!

Everyone will leave with a finish Collage Painting.
